TOUR DESCRIPTION: 

Exploring through the natural and unspoiled river and forest treks that connect you with the setting where our ancestors lived in.We lead you on a guided interpretative tour through a beautiful river cave, including the magnificent and unique underground river cave Portillo, where we navigate in a tube through the 1,000-foot long tunnel, a magical space where you can hear the sounds of nature and see the existing fauna. Then we go on a river trek through boulders and natural pools surrounded by majestic walls of limestone rock that form the canyon, which leads us to incredible Cueva del Arco (Arch’s Cave) where you can relax and bathe under its pure spring waterfalls and enjoy the exquisite views. Then we hike up the mountain to keep on exploring the forest until we complete the circuit at the place where the adventure started.

RESTRICTIONS:​

• Children must be 8 years or older.

• Participants with 18 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult. 

• Maximum of 240 lbs per person.

• All participants must be in good (average) physical condition and physically capable of hiking through uneven, sometimes with loose or slippery rocks, uphill and downhill paths for a considerable amount of time.

• No flip flops or open toe shoes allowed.

• Pregnant women cannot participate in this activity.

• NOT SUITABLE for people with previous injuries, back or knee problems or recent surgery, afraid of altitudes, other serious medical conditions.

• Legally blind or deaf persons are not able to participate due to the same. A Private tour would be the most appropriate option on these cases.
